A Rainy Day
Hi everyone,
I was on my way to Rhode Island today to plein air paint (painting outdoors)…and look at this weather!!
Two weeks ago, I headed out to do the same thing, again, forecast… rain! I decided not to go and guess what??? It didn’t rain.
A third try, made it to RI, set up with my friend KK to paint…almost did it, but the 90+ temperature and sun beating down on us made us think better of the situation and we closed up shop to enjoy the air conditioning and cookies.

Excuses excuses! Yes, some of you may remember that 2013 was my year to paint every day. I’m starting to believe that 2015 is my year to avoid painting every day!!!!
But today was not a creative loss. I did work on jewelry this morning, then drove to RI so I WON’T have an excuse tomorrow. My friend KK's garden is in full bloom and with the rain effect…a natural paradise. Here’s some photos from the day.
Tomorrow I WILL paint, breaking my “avoid painting every day” resolution.
Hope you are having a great week!

Boston Fine Art Photography | Copley at Dayton Show and Appearance on Chronicle
Hope everyone is having a great week! I was very busy at my studio on Sunday and wanted to thank everyone who stopped by. If you didn't have a chance to come visit, I will open my studio again this Sunday for Sowa Sunday!
In other news, some of you might have noticed that I was one of the artists featured in the Chronicle's Special on the South End, this past Thursday. My good friend, Susan Lanoue, owner of Lanoue Art Gallery was also on the show, talking about the gallery's new amazing space in the South End.
Finally, I am happy to say that a few of my Ocean photos are now shown at Dayton Home in Wellesley, MA, (three are shown below) together with work of other four Copley photographers. The show, "Water's Edge" runs until September 15th, so don't miss it! Here is a link to more photos from my Ocean Collection http://bit.ly/1MEqUUI.These have been shot all over the world, such as China (Typhoon), California, Maine, Mexico, St. John and St Thomas, to mention a few places. Hope everyone has a great weekend and stay cool!

Boston Fine Art | Copley Master Designation
Last week, I had the great pleasure of attending Copley Society's evening reception for their Summer Members' Show, As Expected. This was a juried show during which one of my photographs "L'Oeuf 1" received second place and earning me the designation of "Copley Master." The cool thing about it is that it was the first time that a photographer has won this award, since the history of Copley Society. In fact, here is the press release for it http://bit.ly/1Ml4U1e ;)Also, it means a lot to be honored at the Copley Society, since it is the oldest nonprofit art association in America. From their beginning in 1870, they have shown acclaimed artists, such as John Singer Sargent, a personal favorite, Claude Monet, Winslow Homer, Picasso, Van Gogh, and more....so I am feeling a little proud!

Boston Fine Art | Valentine's Day Paintings in progress
I have been having so much fun working on my new project: A Valentine's Day Paintings series portraying sweethearts candy. It's been even more fun to receive your opinions on how to caption and entitle these two paintings...
The heart on the top needs a "sweetheart" candy word or words.
What would you entitle the painting below? Still working on this one.
As, my father would say in rhyme, "Let your creative minds go and leave comments below!"
