I was on my way to Rhode Island today to plein air paint (painting outdoors)…and look at this weather!!
Two weeks ago, I headed out to do the same thing, again, forecast… rain! I decided not to go and guess what??? It didn’t rain.
A third try, made it to RI, set up with my friend KK to paint…almost did it, but the 90+ temperature and sun beating down on us made us think better of the situation and we closed up shop to enjoy the air conditioning and cookies.

Excuses excuses! Yes, some of you may remember that 2013 was my year to paint every day. I’m starting to believe that 2015 is my year to avoid painting every day!!!!
But today was not a creative loss. I did work on jewelry this morning, then drove to RI so I WON’T have an excuse tomorrow. My friend KK's garden is in full bloom and with the rain effect…a natural paradise. Here’s some photos from the day.
Tomorrow I WILL paint, breaking my “avoid painting every day” resolution.
