It doesn't happen every year...but it is happening this year. What, you ask? a big "move it on" SALE. In a cleaning frenzy at home, I found a large group of my early work called "The Original Series". I will be pricing this work to sell, for as little as $5. And what makes this even sweeter...the TAX HOLIDAY WEEKEND!
So here's the deal, I will open my studios, 222 and 223a, on August 15 & 16th from 10:30-4:00 for this sale. Most of my work will be on sale and whatever isn't will be covered by the attached coupon and/or the NO SALES TAX.
The tax break will include "The Colors of White" so if you're thinking of purchasing, this would be a great time.
This Friday, A ugust 7th, is "First Friday". Most of the artists at 450 Harrison Ave, in the SoWa Arts District, will open their studios to the public from 5pm-9pm. I'll have both studios 223a and 222 open, showing my photography, oil paintings, and jewelry.
Below is a link to the Chronicle episode on The South End. You can see Susan Lanoue from Lanoue Gallery (a personal favorite!) at about 3:30 and I'm on at about 4:30.

I also plan to be open for SoWa Sundays, from now until the end of October. Check my website , call or email if you are coming down, just to make certain there are no last minute changes.
"L'oeuf 1" is part of the Copley Society's "Summer Members Show: As Expected". The photograph was awarded 2nd place, and what's cool about that award is that it earning me the designation of being the first "Copley Master" Photographer. The show closes August 19th.
The Copley at Dayton's current show is "Water's Edge". It's running through July 15th featuring 5 photographers. Click here to view this group of work.
If you wish to make an appointment to visit the studio, feel free to contact me at dkphotos@gmail.com, text or call: 978-394-6995.
Warmly,
